Hold & Ship FAQ
What is Hold & Ship?
Hold & Ship allows returning customers to combine multiple fabric purchases into one shipment. Instead of shipping each order immediately, we hold your fabric until your box is full or the hold period ends.
Who can use Hold & Ship?
Hold & Ship is available to returning customers. This option will appear at checkout as “Hold My Order (Ship Later)” when eligible.
How long will my fabric be held?
Fabric is held for up to 45 days from the date of your first hold order. The hold period does not reset with each new order.
How does shipping work with Hold & Ship?
During the hold period, you may place additional orders to fill your selected box. Once the box is full or the 45-day period is reached, your order will be prepared for shipment.
When do I pay for shipping?
Shipping is billed at the end, once your box is ready to ship. You will be contacted and sent an invoice for the applicable shipping cost before your order is shipped.
What box sizes are used?
Hold & Ship orders are shipped using Canada Post prepaid boxes where possible, such as small and medium prepaid boxes. Box size depends on the type and quantity of fabric held. Larger non-prepaid boxes may be used for larger orders and will be quoted separately if required.
What happens if my box is not filled within 45 days?
If the 45-day hold period ends before the box is filled, your order will be prepared for shipment and you will be contacted to complete shipping payment.
Can I request my box to be shipped earlier?
Yes. If you wish to ship your held fabric before the hold period ends, please contact us and we will arrange shipment and invoice the applicable shipping cost.
Is Hold & Ship free shipping?
No. Hold & Ship allows you to combine multiple purchases into one shipment, but shipping is still charged and billed once your order is ready to ship.
Who can I contact if I have questions?
If you have any questions about Hold & Ship or need assistance with your order, please contact us before placing your order.
